Yogini Tantra [ Hindi- Sanskrit ]

The Heavenly Writing: Divination, Horoscopy, and Astronomy in Mesopotamian Culture By Francesca Rochberg

In antiquity, the expertise of the Babylonians in matters of the heavens was legendary and the roots of both western astronomy and astrology are traceable in cuneiform tablets going back to the second and first millennia B.C. The Heavenly Writing discusses Babylonian celestial divination, horoscopy, and astronomy, their differentiations as well as interconnection and their place in Mesopotamian intellectual culture. Focusing chiefly on celestial divination and horoscopes, it traces the emergence of personal astrology from the tradition of celestial divination and the way astronomical methods were employed for horoscopes. It further takes up the historiographical and philosophical issue of the nature of these Mesopotamian 'celestial sciences' by examining elements traditionally of concern to the philosophy of science (empiricism, prediction, and theory) in relation to the Babylonian material without sacrificing the ancient methods, goals, and interests to a modern image of science. This book will be of particular interest for those concerned with the early history of science and the problems introduced by modern distinction between science, magic, and religion for the study and understanding of ancient cultures.

Heaven is for Real: A Little Boy's Astounding Story of His Trip to Heaven and Back By Todd Burpo, Sonja Burpo, Colton Burpo, Lynn Vincent

A young boy emerges from life-saving surgery with remarkable stories of his visit to heaven.

Heaven Is for Real is the true story of the four-year old son of a small town Nebraska pastor who during emergency surgery slips from consciousness and enters heaven. He survives and begins talking about being able to look down and see the doctor operating and his dad praying in the waiting room. The family didn't know what to believe but soon the evidence was clear.

Colton said he met his miscarried sister, whom no one had told him about, and his great grandfather who died 30 years before Colton was born, then shared impossible-to-know details about each. He describes the horse that only Jesus could ride, about how "reaaally big" God and his chair are, and how the Holy Spirit "shoots down power" from heaven to help us.

Told by the father, but often in Colton's own words, the disarmingly simple message is heaven is a real place, Jesus really loves children, and be ready, there is a coming last battle.

Naadi Granth Bahvishya ( Marathi )

Notes On Geomancy By Nick Farrell

What follows are instructions on Geomancy within the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn structure. This book was written because, face it, Geomancy is considered a chore by most students. On one hand it seems complicated and on the other it is so deterministic that it makes it unattractive to anyone who likes to think about their divination.

The Golden Dawn system of Geomancy was based on Agrippa's fourth book, although it included a lot of very simple additional material which was not familiar to the medieval users of Geomancy. Some of this was good, such as the astrological system of placing the sigils in the houses, other sides of it were bad, such as the meanings of the planets in the houses.

While holding to most of the GD tradition, this book simplifies the system and attempts to modernise it using more recent interpretations of the planetary aspects. It also plays down a lot of the doom that is associated with some of the sigils. Unlike the medieval system which gave birth to Geomancy, we no longer see Saturn and Scorpio as the great malefics and regard them as teachers or even positive forces. This little book is mostly my notes. It was designed to bring together a lot of different teachings under one banner to make it easier for Paola to study. It is not complete, particularly when it comes to the method of interpretation which requires skill and reading on astrological interpretation. However it does give an idea which should improve most people's Geomancy readings.

The Lost Book of Enki: Memoirs and Prophecies of an Extraterrestrial God By Zecharia Sitchin

Will the past become our future? Is humankind destined to repeat the events that occurred on another planet, far away from Earth? Zecharia Sitchin's bestselling series The Earth Chronicles provided humanity's side of the story-as recorded on ancient clay tablets and other Sumerian artifacts--concerning our origins at the hands of the Anunnaki, "those who from heaven to earth came." In The Lost Book of Enki, we can view this saga from a different perspective through this richly conceived autobiographical account of Lord Enki, an Anunnaki god, who tells the story of these extraterrestrials' arrival on Earth from the 12th planet Nibiru. The object of their colonization: gold to replenish the dying atmosphere of their home planet. Finding this precious metal results in the Anunnaki creation of homo sapiens--the human race--to mine this important resource.

In his previous works, Sitchin compiled the complete story of the Anunnaki's impact on human civilization in peacetime and in war from the fragments scattered throughout Sumerian, Akkadian, Babylonian, Assyrian, Hittite, Egyptian, Canaanite, and Hebrew sources--the "myths" of all ancient peoples in the old world as well as the new. Missing from these accounts, however, was the perspective of the Anunnaki themselves. What was life like on their own planet? What motives propelled them to settle on Earth-and what drove them from their new home? Convinced of the existence of a now lost book that formed the basis of ancient Sumerian texts holding the answers to these questions, the author began his search for evidence. Through exhaustive research of primary sources, he has here re-created tales as the memoirs of Enki, the leader of these first "astronauts." What takes shape is the story of a world of mounting tensions, deep rivalries, and sophisticated scientific knowledge that is only today being confirmed. An epic tale of gods and men unfolds, challenging every assumption we hold about our creation, our past, and our future.

Gayatri Mantra and Maha Mrityeonjaya Mantra - Hein Braat

Twenty years ago Hein got into touch with mantra singing through a teacher in kriya yoga. Although he couldn’t totally find himself in the yoga doctrine and the content of the mantra lyrics, it was the inspiration with which this teacher sang his mantras that appealed to him most. Thus his interest was aroused, and driven by his musical constitution, he wondered what kind of technique and mechanism was behind it all. The rest of the yoga he more or less put aside and decided to focus all his attention and energy on the art of chanting mantras. By experimenting and constant practice, Hein managed to open many doors within himself. In order to widen/deepen his understanding of mantras he also studied Sanskrit for one year (the language in which the mantras were originally written down). Compared to Dutch he finds Sanskrit a much richer language with a wide spectrum of sounds that involve the entire body in pronunciation. And that he finds essential for reaching unity. Just like an instrument, all tones are utilised to reach an integral sound that unites everything together. The mantra does the same thing: the singer uses his own body to tune himself to his Higher Self, Soul, Life essence or whatever name you wish to attach to it.

Developing Balanced Sensitivity – Practical Buddhist Exercises for Daily Life by Alexander Berzin

Achieving emotional balance, for example, or maintaining healthy relationships is never easy. We make these challenges even more difficult than is necessary, however, for a variety of reasons. Among them are lacking sensitivity in certain situations and overreacting in others. Although Buddha taught many methods for over-coming hardships in life, traditional Indian and Tibetan Buddhist texts do not explicitly address the topic of sensitivity. This is because the Sanskrit and Tibetan languages lack equivalent terms for insensitivity and hypersensitivity. This does not mean that people from these cultures do not suffer from these two problems: they merely do not organize the various manifestations of them under two general terms. In adapting Buddha’s methods for self-improvement to the modern Western context, however, it is necessary to address these issues as formulated in a Western idiom.
