How To Use Astrology Part 1 by Michael Erlewine

This is a book on how to learn astrology for yourself and use it in day-to-day life. This book amounts to a complete course in astrology (over 518 pages, 407 illustrations) from astrologer Michael Erlewine. Author Erlewine, who is an award-winning archivist and director of the Heart Center Astrological Library, the largest astrology library in North America open for research, has over 40 years experience as an astrological author, teacher, and counselor. Here is what Erlewine says about How to Learn Astrology from

“As the curator of a very large astrological library, I have a good idea of what students of astrology are looking for, and one thing that is needed is a collection of plenty of accurate diagrams and illustrations. The old saying that a picture is worth 1,000 words is especially true with astrology, and that is why I was interested in creating a course such as this one. No book publisher would consider allowing us to have almost one thousand color illustrations, which is why we chose the e-book format.

“And I wanted something more than just the same old, same old. Of course all the basics are there. But in addition to the traditional material, I felt it important to cover what is required for you to become a professional astrologer, how to start an astrological business, setting up an office, advertising, and all of that mundane but very important information. Equally important is the detailed section on how to become an astrological counselor, how to do readings, and what to expect from your clients and from yourself.

“And last, but not least, the emphasis in this course is on interpretation: what astrology means and how it is useful in day-to-day living. ‘Meaning’ is what this course is all about. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did putting it together.”
